Customer Retention

Keeping good customers is a must for a business to be successful. In fact, it is more important than gaining new customers. Because if you have done your job, you will have their loyalty. The key to retaining customers is customer service with price, accessibility and quality close behind. Businesses that have a high incidence of customer "leakage" typically struggle with profitability. In some cases, the lack of attention to retaining customers causes the business to fold. Your business should have a focus on customer retention. First, identify the factors that are most important to your customers. And then develop a plan/program for ensuring that the customers' needs and preferences are met. Without such a focus your business will be at the mercy of your competition and the customers' whims. With a customer retention focus, customers will at least think twice before going elsewhere.
